One Recovery Boston harnesses the power of yoga and recovery in communities to raise consciousness to create funds for yoga and recovery research, treatment scholarships for 16-26 year olds and evidence-based prevention programs.

One Recovery Boston was founded by Kate McHugh in response to the growing epidemic of addiction and addiction-related deaths in Massachusetts and the significant challenges associated with successfully accessing treatment due to insurance restrictions, lack of insurance coverage and/or the availability of facilities and long-term recovery programs.

The Mission of One Recovery Boston is to mobilize the City of Boston by harnessing the power of the yoga and recovery communities to create resources for the health & well-being of children of the Commonwealth.

Our vision is to align with the global yoga community by creating annual events that manifest resources to improve the evidence base of yoga and recovery research, increase scholarships to treatment for young people and support prevention programs in our neighborhoods.
